Public Transport
Bus 54 (Evergem Doornzele - Melle College) leaves from Gent-Zuid (Woodrow Wilsonplein) in the city centre. Leave the bus at the bus stop “Psychiatric Hospital Caritas” and walk further on to the bridge of the motorway E40 (ca. 300 m). The entrance of the institute (ILVO-Unit Plant) is just in front of the bridge at your right. Maps indicating the bus stops and the conference site can be found below. By Car
The conference site can easily be accessed by car. Following driving instructions should be helpful. Leave the E17 motorway at junction Destelbergen and take the ring road R4 around Gent, direction Merelbeke-Melle. Leave the R4 at junction Melle. Turn right to Aalst (Brusselsesteenweg). At the first traffic lights (ca. 1km) turn right, continue under the railway bridge (Vossenstraat) until T-intersection (ca. 1 km). Turn right into Gontrode Heirweg and then left (after ca. 500m) into Caritasstraat. Just behind the bridge of the E40 motorway turn left. This is the entrance to the ILVO - Plant.
